Piers & Island Transfer Info
- Departure Point: Railay Beach (East Railay Floating Pier). All scheduled speedboats and passenger ferries depart from the floating pier on East Railay. Please arrive at the pier at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time for check-in.
- Getting to East Railay Pier: Since Railay has no cars or roads, guests staying at West Railay Beach, Railay Walking Street, or Phra Nang Cave Beach can easily walk across the flat paved footpaths to East Railay Floating Pier in roughly 5 to 10 minutes.
- Arrival Point on Koh Phi Phi: Koh Phi Phi (Tonsai Pier). Boats arrive directly at Tonsai Pier in central Phi Phi Don, providing instant walking access to the main village, Tonsai Bay hotels, and Loh Dalum Beach.
- Heading to Northern Phi Phi Resorts? If you are staying in northern Phi Phi (SAii Phi Phi Island Village, OUTRIGGER / Zeavola, Phi Phi Natural, or Holiday Resort), you can hire a private longtail boat taxi from Tonsai Pier upon arrival to reach your resort.
- Koh Phi Phi Island Entry Fee: All visitors arriving at Tonsai Pier must pay a municipal sanitation and port maintenance fee of 20 THB cash per person directly to local authorities at the pier exit gate.

- Speedboat vs Ferry Travel Time: Direct speedboats reach Koh Phi Phi in approximately 35 to 50 minutes. Large passenger ferries take approximately 1.5 to 1 hour 45 minutes, providing air-conditioned cabins, sundeck views, and smooth sailing.
