Piers & Hotel Transfer Info
- Departure Pier: Koh Phi Phi (Tonsai Pier). All scheduled speedboats and ferries depart from Tonsai Pier. Please arrive and check in at the operator counter at least 30 minutes before departure.
- Staying at Laem Tong Beach: If staying at northern Phi Phi resorts (SAii, Zeavola, Phi Phi Natural, Holiday Resort), you must arrange a local longtail boat transfer (approx. 35–45 mins) to Tonsai Pier for check-in.
- Arrival Pier: Koh Lanta (Saladan Pier). Located at the northern tip of Koh Lanta, offering immediate access to taxis, shared songthaews, and resort pickups.
- Koh Lanta Hotel Transfers: Shared minivan or songthaew drop-offs are available on selected departures or as an optional add-on. Standard coverage covers Saladan, Kaw Kwang, Klong Dao, Long Beach (Phra Ae), Klong Khong, Klong Nin, and Kantiang Bay. Remote resorts or other zones may incur additional fee.
- Saladan Pier Bridge / Island Fee: Koh Lanta local authorities may collect a nominal pier environmental fee (approx. 10–20 THB cash) upon arrival at Saladan Pier.

- Speedboat vs Ferry Travel Time: Direct speedboats make the quick crossing in only 30 minutes. Large passenger ferries take approximately 1 hour, offering an air-conditioned cabin, open viewing decks, and extra luggage room.
- Seating Policy: Seating operates strictly on an open seating, first-come, first-served basis. On speedboats, boat crew will guide seating arrangements to ensure balance and navigational safety.
- Luggage Allowance: Standard ticket includes 1 check-in suitcase (up to 20 kg) and 1 personal carry-on bag. Extra-large bags, scuba boxes, or surfboards may require an excess luggage fee at the pier.
