Ferries and speedboats dock at different piers depending on the operator: Nopparat Thara Pier provides direct access to Ao Nang Beach; Klong Jilad Pier and Krabi River Marina are located closest to Krabi Town and offer convenient connections toward Krabi Airport. Because road travel across Krabi is short and easy, you can comfortably select your boat based on your preferred departure time.

Speedboats take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours depending on the specific operator and arrival pier. Passenger ferries take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, providing a relaxed, scenic crossing across the bay.

Selected departures include complimentary shared minivan transfer from major Phuket zones (Patong, Kata, Karon, and Phuket Town) to Rassada Pier, as well as drop-off at hotels in Ao Nang (look for the Free Hotel Pick-up & Drop-off badge on the timetable). For other departures, hotel transfers are available as an optional paid add-on or can be arranged independently via local taxis.
